As an Incident Response & Security Consultant, you will play a dual role in our organization. You will be part of the team responding to security incidents, while also providing strategic consulting to our clients to strengthen their security posture. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and advisory skills, as you will be working closely with clients to understand their needs, develop security strategies, and ensure they are prepared to respond effectively to incidents.
Who we are looking for
Qualifications:
- Bachelor`s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CEH, GCIA, GCIH), and incident response certification (SANS FOR508 or equivalent) are a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in incident response, cybersecurity consulting, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in forensic tools and techniques, threat intelligence, and SIEM platforms are a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel as required for client engagements.
Your future role
Incident Response
- Incident response activities, including identification, containment, eradication, recovery, and post-incident analysis.
- Analyze threat data and perform forensic investigations to identify root causes and mitigate risks.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans, playbooks, and procedures.
- Conduct threat intelligence and vulnerability assessments to proactively address potential threats.
Consulting:
- Provide expert advice and guidance on security best practices, risk management, and compliance requirements.
- Conduct security assessments and audits to evaluate the effectiveness of clients’ security controls.
- Develop and deliver customized security solutions, including policies, frameworks, and technical controls.
- Collaborate with clients to design and implement security architectures and incident response strategies.
Training & Development:
- Deliver training sessions and workshops to client staff on cybersecurity awareness, incident response, and best practices.
- Stay current with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to continually enhance our service offerings.
